Bionic Arm

Bionic arms  are worn by people with upper limb differences. Bionic arms work by picking up signals from a user’s muscles. After user wanted to move bionic arm there would be some changes on specific muscles  and this will be detected by sensors in the bionic arm. After the processing of the data that comes from the sensors, bionic arm will make the expected movement. However this kind of bionic arms generally cannot be be used by different people because algoritms and where should the sensors placed are differ person to person, so some data must be collected for making bionic arm suitable for the person. Also there is a different kind of bionic arm which is not very usable for now but has a bright future. This bionic arm sees an object with cameras on it and reaches for the object. Device is ten times faster than current bionic limbs, and  uses artificial intelligence to continually improve its detection and picking-up skills.

In the video you will see Hero Arm which is very good example of bionic arms. Hero Arm has 4 motors in it. Motors are able to move fingers individually. It is mostly 3D printed so it is not expensive to produce. Users increase their control on device for a period of time. Than they can move fingers individually
